BLP Kosher Biography
BLP Kosher is an upcoming rapper from Broward County, Florida. Blending the familiar sound of Broward with his genius lyricism and witty bars. His main influences are Kodak Black, Glock9ine, and others. His Jewish faith also influences his music and he reps it proudly. His unique hair also has real meaning. His two distinctive wicks was the idea of his friend Charmane, who was killed by the police. He grew up in the Pine Tree Apartments in Deerfield Beach and rapping didn't come till later in his life, as he started out skating. He nearly went pro as a skater, with many sponsers, but he took a different path. He uploaded his first song to SoundCloud in 2021 called "Sweet Potato" with close friend Luh Gary. He started rapping as a joke and didn't take it seriously until he met fellow Jewish rapper Jew Sheisty. Kosher and Jew Sheisty became friends and Sheisty realised that Kosher had real talent rapping and told him to take it serious. Jew Sheisty had been rapping for nearly a decade at this point and had worked with Florida legends Ruben Slikk and YNW Melly. Jew Sheisty and BLP Kosher began to rap together and dropped the tracks " Never Be You", "Burnt Nazis", and "Dreidel Twins". Unfortunately later in 2022 Jew Sheisty would pass away, cause of death never publicly stated. BLP would continue to drop tracks and put real passion behind his music in honor of his dead homies. He would promote his music by passing out flyers and making fake fan pages of himself. The fan pages actually helped get his face out there and his hair made people click on his music. He started gaining traction, going from 30k on Spotify to 500k in just a few months. He has blown up and is only getting bigger and he has a lot more music to come.
