Karen Peck & New River Biography

Six-time Grammy nominated and nine-time GMA Dove Award winner Karen Peck and New River has impacted the gospel music industry for over 28 years. In May 2018, Karen Peck was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. She served two terms, 2009-2011, as the first woman president for the SGMA (Southern Gospel Music Association) and currently serves on the Board of Directors for SGMA and Abraham Productions. Karen is a co-host on the successful Atlanta TV57 show, Gospel Music USA. In 2012, she landed a small part in the movie, Joyful Noise, which also had her performing the song "Mighty High" on the film's soundtrack. Karen has an acting role in the faith-based film Redeemed. Karen Peck and New River was formed in 1991 by Karen, her sister, Susan Peck Jackson, and husband, Rickey Gooch. The group vocally consists of Karen Peck Gooch, Susan Peck Jackson, Grant Gibson, and Karen’s daughter Kari Gooch. Matthew Gooch is the guitarist. Rickey Gooch serves as their manager and sound technician. They have been faithfully striving for excellence in making KPNR relevant in today’s society. Their progressive sound has allowed them to perform in many concert halls and churches all across the USA and other countries. They have performed on The Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood, The Gaither Homecoming Tours, Abraham Productions Tours, and Six Flags Over Ga. They have had over 20 number one hits such as "Four Days Late," (Song of the decade 2000-2010 Singing News Trade Magazine Chart), “Hope For All Nations,” “Gotta Be Saved,” “ I Know I’ll Be There,” “The River,” Pray Now,” “I Am Blessed,” "Hold Me While I Cry," "I Want To Thank You," and "On The Banks Of The Promised Land," "Revival," "Finish Well," just to name a few.
In June 2017, KPNR performed a concept video of their hit song “Hope For All Nations” in Roatan, Honduras.
