The Lighthouse Boys

Solid Ground and The Lighthouse Boys will be appearing live in Bakersfield, CA for the 5th Saturday Sing. Solid Ground, from Sacramento, CA. Formed 17 Years ago by Taft native Jeff Johnson (Formerly of The Descendents, Sonrise, The Lighthouse Boys, The Southmen). Solid Ground quickly became a favorite in Northern California. Members also included current President of the WSGMA Randy Wold, and Rick Gentry (Formerly of The Crownsmen, Southland and The Watchmen) Solid Ground has a strong desire to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ through high quality musical performance in churches and venues of all sizes. The Lighthouse Boys are on their 50th Anniversary Tour, they have been called Progenitors of the Bakersfield Sound. The Lighthouse Boys received the 2016 "Gospel" Award by The Bakersfield Country Music Awards as a "Life time Achievement Presentation". They are known for their Radio Singles and Fan Favorites "Midnight Cry", "From Heaven's Point of View", "When The Saints of God Are Called T'ward Heaven" and their newest single "He'll Carry You".
