Dead Belgian are a Liverpool-based band playing the music of Jacques Brel. They began life in 2007, inspired to share Brel?s music with all who would listen. Dead Belgian are Micky Dunne Luciana Mercer Andy Delamere and Simon. Presenting the Yorkshire Gypsy Jazz Collective! Featuring some of the region?s hottest gypsy jazz and swing players, playing music inspired from legendry musicians Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli of the ?Quintette du Hot Club de France?. Expect fiery solos, foot-stomping rhythms, burning ballads and even some Latin inspired piece. The collective remains in the spirit of Django and Stephane, whilst pushing the genre? of ?gypsy jazz? forward into modern sphere.
