Solemn chords sound gravely - and give way to cheeky high spirits. His Violin Concerto No.3 is equally buoyant, and it's a treat to hear it played by Yeyeong Jenny Lin, the 2023 winner of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition.

The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) is Auckland’s professional symphony orchestra, presenting more than 60 performances annually with a comprehensive season of symphonic work and multi-disciplinary events with contemporary artists.
Through its numerous APO Connecting (education, outreach and community) initiatives, APO offers opportunities to more than 20,000 young people and adults nationwide.
Each year the APO performs to more than 250,000 people live and over the course of the pandemic, has reached more than 4.3 million viewers globally through livestreams and other digital offerings.
