Mugshot was a really good opener, super high energy. Dying Wish was honestly something else though. I was really surprised at how good they sounded. The vocalist is also super chill, I got to talk to her after the show. Currents is one of those bands I had heard a lot about but hadn't listen to, and I really see the appeal. They're one of those where it's stupidly heavy, while having really catchy melodies. I had a really nice conversation with the vocalist after the show, and I got some pics. He is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met. He gave great advice on how to become a better vocalist, and I really appreciate that. The Amity Affliction made everyone feel like one big family, which gave a different level of happiness. The only other band to do for me that was Coheed and Cambria. I got a picture with Ahren from The Amity Affliction, and was able to thank him for their music saving my life.
