Yoshi Biography
Afghan-born rapper/producer currently residing in Brighton, England, Yoshi is the alias of Yusef Misdaq.
He has thus far released two albums, mainly via independant record shops in Brighton and via the internet - 'From a Western Box', in 2004, and 'Flowers & Trees' in 2005. 2007 currently sees him working with the Nefisa art collective with his own short film 'Pieces of a Paki' set in near-future Britain.
Collaborations include fellow Brightonites The Pipettes (on When U See The Future, Rahma Ali, Diamondscepter and Freezerman.
