About this concert
The massively influential NYC screamo legends Saetia recently posted a very short video of their first rehearsal in 20+ years, which prompted speculation of a reunion, and now its official. Saetia were initially around from 1997 to 1999, during which time they released one full-length and a variety of smaller releases, all of which were compiled for 2001s essential A Retrospective comp (and again for 2016s Collected, released on Touche Amore frontman Jeremy Bolms Secret Voice label). After their breakup, members formed Hot Cross and Off Minor (and Greg Drudy briefly drummed for Interpol). More recently, guitarist Jamie Behar has been playing in Lytic and Pembroke, vocalist Billy Werner has been playing as M//R, and guitarist Adam Marino has been playing in Attempt Survivors. - Brooklyn Vegan

Saetia Biography
Saetia was formed in 1997 in New York City and only existed until 1999. During two decades of inactivity, the band's music took on a life of its own, cultivating a large international fanbase and is broadly acknowledged as massively influential in the DIY emo hardcore universe.
In 2016, the band released a double album discography via Secret Voice records. This project reignited the band's interest in playing music, and 6 years later, in November of 2022, the band played 5 sold out shows in NYC and Philadelphia. The response was overwhelming, and the shows raised $31K for local charities defending trans rights and protecting abortion access. By the January 2023, the band had booked additional benefit shows in California, two shows in England, and a festival appearance in Florida at Fest. The band plans to continue playing shows in 2024.
