Rufus wears his signature Chapeau, which can be seen all over the party, as a result of an on-stage encounter while playing with George Clinton where Clinton ended up taking his stage hat, which originally was just a fedora, leaving him no other choice than to walk into his destiny and become the iconic entertainer he is today.
