About this concert
Bait c’est un label focalisé sur le croisement de 2 sphères musicales: bass musique (majoritairement dubstep) lourde en snares et techno syncopée immersive.
La 4ème sortie du label, “In the Dark”, c’est un EP de Ambit, productrice et DJ irlandaise aux sorties dubstep ou drum and bass énervées et sombres, notamment sur le label Woozy (Dublin).
Cette sortie est composée de 3 morceaux, le title track “In the Dark”, un deuxième titre “Run”, et un remix de “Run” par le boss parisien du 140 Argo. L’EP “In the Dark” porte très bien son nom, proposant des sons percussifs halftime au basses ondulantes, des vocales ténébreuses et une ambiance globalement abyssale. Le remix de Argo fait flirter les codes du techno et du dubstep, créant une rythmique saccadée élégante et en même temps chaotique.
Pour fêter la sortie, Bait invite justement le label Woozy pour une soirée collab au Point Ephémère. Les fondateurices de ces deux labels, EMA (Woozy) et Beatrice M. (Bait) joueront en b2b. On y trouvera également Raja, membre du crew lillois Ruffcast et sélecteur de vinyles deep dubstep depuis plus d’une décennie. Argo jouera en b2b avec Sîn du collectif parisien Bass Paradize, sans lequel, on peut le dire, on aurait pas eu la joie de voir jouer quelques légendes UK dans la capitale dans les dernières années, tel que Boofy, Wen, Karma, Traces…. Pour n’en citer que quelques uns. Et pour finir la star de la nuit: Ambit elle-même.

SIN Biography
There are at least seven bands named 'Sin', 'SIN', or 'S.I.N.':
1. Filipino Technical Death Metal Band SiN started in 2001. MySpace | Metal Archives Page
The band consists of:
Charles Daza - Vocals
Alvin Quinones - Bass
Rommel Vasquez - Guitars
Gilchrist Tan - Guitars
Macoy Manuel - Drums
They have also released an EP entitled "Pilgrimage" which was released back in 2004. They recently shared the stage with Shadows Fall in the PULP Summer Slam 2008 event.
Many who claim to have listened to the band, they are the Philippines' answer to the band Meshuggah from Sweden.

7. Solo Canadian Rapper Philip "SIN" Philippi
Born in Belgrade, Serbia and moved to Canada as a refugee in 1994.
As a rapper he is highly regarded by most Serbian immigrants in Northern America but not recognized as much back "home" in Serbia for his dislike of a certain ethnic group.
Currently CEO of his self-started label, Sizzerb ent.
