Avenues

Avenues is a punk rock quartet from Milwaukee, Wisconsin which originally formed in January of 2006 by Vin Smith after parting way from 52Metro. After a few member changes, Avenues current lineup came together in 2009. Members of Avenues have played countless shows and venues across the country and participated in nationwide tours with The Vans Warped Tour and Lollapalooza in previous bands. Avenues have played well-known festivals such as Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festivals, Summerfest and in September of 2015 Envol Et Macadam in Québec City, Canada with Bigwig and Rise Against. Avenues have shared the stage with notable punk acts, Buzzcocks, Bob Mould, Masked Intruder, Strung Out, 88 Fingers Louie, Pulley, Red City Radio, Teenage Bottlerocket, Less Than Jake, Direct Hit!, Mustard Plug. In the fall of 2011, Avenues headed west to Los Angeles, California to record their EP "NOHO" with Grammy nominated producer/engineer Davey Rieley at godaveygo studio. With that album the band signed a publishing deal with Los Angeles, CA based Gas Can Music and then were added to the roaster of Chicago, IL based Stayposi Records in which they released "Postcards From Ann Arbor," in 2013. Avenues released their 5 song EP "Creep Show," in April 2015. Later in August 2015 they re-released the EP on 10" vinyl with 2 bonus songs, Hipster 101 and THRASHER via Los Angeles, CA based indie label Wiretap Records. The bands last two albums were both recorded at Atlas Studio in Chicago, IL with well know punk producer Matt Allison, know for recording such acts as, (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms, The Menzingers and Masked Intruder).
