Eriksson Delcroix Sir Bjorn Eriksson beter known as the ingenious guitar wizzard of Zita Swoon, Maxon Blewitt & Broken Circle BreakDown Band & his Lady Nathalie Delcroix from all angels ensemble Lais & folkband Birds That Change Colour, are back after The Partchesz project with the souhern comfort ensemble Eriksson Delcroix! Inspired by the midwest crawling snakes and the eagles flying in the sourthern breeze, their sound is warm, melancholic & single malt! In 2012 Bjorn Eriksson was asked to write the soundtrack of The Broken Circle Breakdown movie by Felix Van Groeningen! Together with his father Karl Eriksson they made a compilation of the best bluegrass classics & formed The Broken Circle Bluegrass Band! The soundtrack went straight up to number 1 in the Belgian album charts and sold +50.000 albums! With the huge success of the soundtrack, the actors & musicians of The Broken Circle Breakdown Band got their show on the road and sold out venues & festivals throughout 2013! After the summer, Bjorn Eriksson & Nathalie Delcroix went back to their new beloved project Eriksson Delcroix and recorded 12 new songs together with great musicians like Bjorn's father Karl Eriksson of the Broken Circle Breakdown Band, but also Elko Blijweert (Kiss My Jazz/Dead Man Ray) Tim Coe nen & Alain Ryant joined this new project!  In the summer of 2013 Eriksson Delcroix released "At The Car Graveyard" video as a teaser for the forthcoming debut album to be released in february 2014! Of liever, worden verliefd, beginnen samen te zingen en leren elkaar kennen. Een band word opgericht, 'The Partchesz' (fonetisch: De paardjes) en ze brengen in 2007 hun debuut uit bij Bjorn's eigen label DimDinRecords. Het wordt een mix van country-traditionals en experimentele elektronica. Live nemen ze familie en vrienden mee op de baan, vader Karl Eriksson, een uitzonderlijke banjo-speler, Peter Pask, Tim Coenen en meester-gitarist Elko Blijweert. In 2012 neemt filmregisseur Felix Van Groeningen contact op met Bjorn. Hij zoekt de juiste man voor het verzorgen van de soundtrack van zijn nieuwe film 'The Broken Circle Breakdown'. Meer uitleg was er niet nodig om Bjorn filmmuziek-geschiedenis te laten schrijven...de soundtrack staat maanden op 1 in de charts en The Broken Circle Bluegrass-band speelt letterlijk het land plat. Na dit bluegrassfeest wordt het ten huize Eriksson Delcroix weer dringend tijd om terug samen te zingen. En wat is een betere naam voor dit duo dan hun naam? 'Eriksson Delcroix' schrijven deze keer hun eigen songs, geïnspireerd door hun dagdagelijkse avonturen. Buiten een aantal topmuzikanten worden ook hun 2 dochters opgetrommeld in de studio. Hun repertoire is een mooie eerlijke samensmelting van hun muzikale werelden, country en folk.
