Baboon Biography
Baboon is a rock band originally from Denton, Texas.

The band formed in 1991. They are currently (as of March 2005) working on their fifth (or sixth) full-length album (depending on whether We Sing and Play counts as an E.P. or as an album).
Baboon appeared on an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger in 1996. The band and their music were a key point in the episode's plot.
In its early years, Baboon toured extensively. They were on the Skoal-sponsored ROAR tour in 1997, along with acts such as Iggy Pop, The Reverend Horton Heat, The Bloodhound Gang, and Sponge. They also toured with Toadies, Brutal Juice, and Unwound.
