Fabrikate Biography
All vital information pertaining to the production duo behind emerging artist act Fabrikate is unclear. Take a look at their branding; in spite of all vibrant aesthetics surrounding them, the duo remain stoic and silent, their identities concealed by masks when behind the camera and on stage.
One can only speculate as to why Fabrikate keep themselves outside the spotlight’s range. Maybe their anonymity is a comment on their artform. Music is music, after all; once composed, it has an identity independent of those who made it. Whatever the reason, Fabrikate's unique take on electronic music speaks for itself, filling in the silence behind the masks. Since their first remix release back in December 2014, they have showcased a variety of influences in a series of popular remixes and singles; ranging from a traditional Deep House sound, to tracks reminiscent of the L.A. Bass House scene.
All beautiful silences come to an end eventually, at least in some way. Fabrikate have inched themselves into the noise and light by dropping their debut album “Bodies”, which breaks far out of the box of trendy styles of House, bringing heavily retro-inspired compositions written without a DJ set in mind. The album seems to have come from nowhere at all, without any prior word. Just like Fabrikate.
