The Germans brengen een onnavolgbare mix van krautrock, psychedelica, dub, elektronica en allround weirdness aangevuld met een stevige brok humor. Met Spirituality (Cortizona) brengen ze in 2024 het tweede deel uit van hun albumtrilogie na voorganger Sexuality op Unday Records. Voor de opnames van de plaat werkten Jakob Ampe, Vincent Cauwels, Lennert Jacobs en Boris Zeebroek (Bolis Pupul) opnieuw samen met producer Micha Volders.

The Germans Biography
The Germans is a Belgian band consisting of brothers Lennert and Timothy Jacobs (drums & bass), singer Jakob Ampe and lead guitarist Vincent Cauwels. Influenced by other Beligan bands such as Evil Superstars and Millionaire, but also by krautrock and American bands such as Pixies and Pavement, they bring melodic rock songs with an experimental edge.
The debut album "Elf Shot Lame Witch" has been released in March 2008. It has been mixed by Boris Wilsdorf, sound engineer of the legendary German band Einstürzende Neubauten.
