Herban Empire Biography
Herban Empire is an alternative-reggae band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their smooth reggae rhythms combined with solid guitar and vocal harmonies give them a unique and refreshing sound that is sure to please.
Band members Andrew Cole (vocals/guitar), Adam Lenkowski (vocals/guitar), and Skip Hardy (drums) met while attending college at the University of Utah and started jamming together in 2008. Skip's brother Zach grew up watching Herban Empire perform at local venues, and eventually became the bass player when the need arose.
You can catch the group performing in the Salt Lake City area at venues such as Snowbird Ski Resort, A Bar Named Sue, reggae nights at The Royal, The Urban Lounge, and The State Room.
Herban Empire has been grateful to share the stage with many great artists including Pato Banton, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Passafire, Bumpin' Uglies, The Wailing Souls, and Black Uhuru. They have also been a part of the Reggae Rise Up Utah Festival in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 which features today's best reggae artists including Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, Sublime w/Rome, Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Collie Buddz, Iration, and many more.
