Cats And Cats And Cats Biography

Cats and Cats and Cats are a 5-piece split between the counties of Surrey and Kent, who met whilst studying at The University of Hertfordshire.

They are:
Tom Baker (Bass)
Ben George (Vocals + Guitar)
Doug Jenkins (Drums)
Adam Leverett (Guitar)
Eve Morrison (Violin)

The band has a successful number of releases behind them. In 2005 they released their first EP, ‘Victorialand’. In 2006 they went on to record the slightly more ambitious ‘Sweet Drunk Everyone’. This was released at the time through Unlabel and Win Win Win records. In 2007 they were approached by renowned label Big Scary Monsters to release a split album with This Town Needs Guns. The release of the split album coincided with an extensive tour of the country as well as a Radio 1 session recorded at Maida Vale studios for Huw Stephens. The band also went on to perform at Glastonbury festival that year. They have since had a number of features on radio stations across the country including X-FM, BBC 6music and Radio 1, in addition to coverage in NME and Rocksound.
More touring followed, including supports with bands 65 Days of Static, Youth Movies, Red Jetson, iLiKETRAiNS, Errors and Tellison.
In April 2008 Cats and Cats and Cats set out for Europe, where they toured France, Luxembourg, Denmark, Germany and Holland. The band were greeted with many positive reviews and hope to return soon.
In May this year they were invited to support Forward Russia on a number of their England tour dates including Liverpool and the bands hometown show in Leeds.
Since then the cats have been busy writing for their first full length studio album.
They will be touring the UK for a month in October and then straight into the studio for November.
More details on this to be announced shortly. Tour dates are listed on the bands MySpace page.
