Northern

During the year of 1999, more than 500 people lost their job, linked to one of the most important factory around the gaspe. More than 10 years passed, the cancer is now falling into pieces, but we are forced to live without the hand that feeded us during 100 years. We fought, and we are still fighting for our lives, our jobs, our families, our future. We are Northern, the only band alive in the area, and we do this for the kids, and for all the lives taken by this tragedy. Music is the only thing that gives us the will to survive and to carry on, night after night. We played our first show in 2011. Plus de 10 ans après, le cancer tombe maintenant en ruines, mais nous portons encore les cicatrices d'une vie dédiée à la main qui nous a nourris durant près de 100 ans. Nous nous sommes battus, et nous nous batterons encore pour nos vies, nos jobs, nos familles, notre future. Nous sommes Northern, le seul groupe encore en vie dans les alentours, et nous le faisons pour la jeunesse, et en mémoire de toutes les vies emportées par cette tragédie. La musique est la seule chose qui nous donne la force de continuer, soir après soir. Nous avons joué notre premier spectacle en 2011. RIP 2010-2017
