Moes Alley presents a special Sunday afternoon matinee show with Dusted Angel with Fatso Jetson and Hotlung! Sunday, January 14thDoors: 2pm / Show: 3pm$15 in advance / $20 day of the show21+DUSTED ANGELDusted Angel is a band that likes to keep it in the family. Made up of a group of close friends that have known each since the early 80s, stemming from playing in various intertwined bands engraved in the extended Santa Cruz family of friends. Featuring Ed Gregor, guitar (hedgehog, no use for a name), Eric Dog Fieber, guitar (Mock, creature, fire sermon) Steve Ilse drums (creature, Herbert/Automatic animal, Hologram Tits) Clifford Dinsmore vocals (Blast!, Seized Up, Spaceboy) and Eliot Young on bass. Formed a very long time ago (I dont know..2009 or something), Dusted Angel is a sleeping giant that awakens from time to time to enlighten people with their unique brand of heavy, heavy groove laden music. The advice for fans is to get it while the gettins good! If they come around, seize the opportunity to see this band before they fade back into the obscurity of hibernation!!FATSO JETSONFatso Jetson is an American desert rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1994 by Yawning Man and The Sort of Quartet members Mario Lalli and Larry Lalli, along with Tony Tornay, and Dino Von Lalli (son of Mario). Fatso Jetson have remained a active force in underground rock for almost 25 years. They are often credited as originators of the desert strain of stoner rock made most famous by their younger neighbors Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age. While musically similar to some of their stoner brethren, Fatso Jetson incorporate a variety of musical influences that includes punk, art rock, blues and psychedelic hard rock. The band formed in Palm Desert, California around 1994. Living in the desert, secluded away from the clubs and trends of the music scenes in Los Angeles, the only places for original music to be played were pool halls, restaurants (after hours) and the occasional struggling bar. On many occasions, the only place for a band to play has been in secluded desert canyons powered by a generator.

Fatso Jetson Biography
Mario Lalli was an inspiration for Josh Homme back in the day. A frequent contributor to Desert Sessions, his blues-soaked heavy rock found a home in Fatso Jetson. Although under-played and under-recognised they, and Masters of Reality, have brought an ambient blues groove to stoner rock that sounds pretty damn good.
