Melbourne Indie Rock Thursday!This event lands indie rock lovers into the new year with a musical celebration featuring some quality Independent Melbourne music.Opening the night will be talented newcomer Mia Pasano who is refining her craft at Monash University. Her sweet folky vocals are not to be missed.Next up; Those Tremblin' Hands, a realitivly new melby trio delivering a delicious brand of jangly guitar riffs and ripping power pop tunes. With influences such as The Plimsoles and The Stems; these guys will take care of all your power pop needs!Main support: The Bartons are an energetic 4 piece who tread the line between grungey punk, dirty disco and psychedelic dreaming with the odd nod to ska. The members are family - they share a grandfather- and love to rock!Headlining is former Bourke St busking band: The Elliotts. An upbeat indie rock band founded by musical brothers; they followed their music addiction; touring as far away as the United States & Europe. Recently becoming more new wave; incorporating a cousin on keyboards. The Elliotts will head to Tasmania for shows later in the month.See attached pictures from recent Queensland tour.

The Elliotts Biography
The Elliotts began in 2009 when Robbie Elliott met James (Wally) Howlett at a gig. It was not until James joined that the group was completed. The pair united under a love of harmonies and worked with Pete Dacy (Taxiride, Superjesus) , Brian Canham (Pseudo Echo) and Matt Beckley (Katy Perry) to refine their sound.
The Elliotts have been referred to as a post millennium Hollies by Bud Scooper of US rolling stone. The band toured Singapore and recorded their first EP. Released in 2013, Warriors features 6 songs and an American Indian warrior on the disk; the title signifies the band's unwavering fight to make their music better and acknowledges the connection to their environment. Warriors has sold over 4,000 copies in Australia and was toured in Europe in 2015.
This very hairy handsome band released their 2nd EP 'Aeroplane' mid 2016 and have sold over 3000 copies. 2017 is a huge year with supporting Meg Mac, Neil Finn and an appearance at SXSW in the USA alongside 15 dates around the country.
