Après Confluence et son Ancien marché de gros, Gerland et ses Usines Fagor, place à La Mulatière et son ancien technicentre ; un site aux halles vertigineuses et aux vestiges mécaniques, qui témoigne d’un passé historique industriel fort et laisse place à la construction d’un monde éphémère le temps du festival.
Fidèle à l'esprit des Days du festival, ce nouveau site accueille quatre scènes aux expériences différentes : un soundsystem signature, des immersions audiovisuelles, des lives performatifs et un grand dancefloor urbain. Quatre espaces scéniques pour représenter une diversité de communautés artistiques internationales et locales, mettre en avant des territoires sous représentés dans les festivals européens et encore davantage d’histoires des musiques électroniques du monde entier à raconter.

I was not sure about what to expect, because I always imagined Bonobo as Simon Green sitting behind a consolette.
It turned out there were 7 or 8 musicians doing an amazing job on stage!
The sang parts of songs were performed by Nicole Miglis.
Bonobo did a journey through basically all albums, so my friend and I could hear our favourite songs live.
There was not a lot of crowd work, however that is not uncommon when doing concerts in foreign countries.
The atmosphere was unforgettable though. I entirely changed the way I hear Bonobo's songs after hearing them live.

Bonobo Biography
There is more than one artist with this name:
1) Bonobo is Simon Green, British producer, composer, musician and DJ.
With the experimental warmth of '60s french films and the pizzicato flavor of horizontal hip-hop, Bonobo established a welcome niche of a pretension-free, post-party intellectual chill-out. Green debuted in 1999 from Brighton at 18 years old with a track on Tru Thoughts Recordings' When Shapes Join Together compilation. Though tempted by offers from Mute and XL after the official issue of "The Scuba EP" and the "Terrapin" single, Green stuck with Tru Thoughts for the acclaimed debut LP Animal Magic. This completely self-produced and mainly self-instrumented album was highlighted by downtempo dub, funk, and an equally likable use of sitars. Animal Magic was an obvious success and plans were quickly made for careful European support appearances, as well as a follow-up album onColdcut's Ninja Tune label in 2001, called Dial "M" for Monkey. A tour to support the record followed and was documented on the 2005 EP Live Sessions.
Also in 2005, Bonobo contributed to the Solid Steel series, with his Bonobo Presents Solid Steel: It Came From The Sea. The release date was scheduled for 10 October, 2005 but was released a week early. The mix features several exclusive tracks as well as remixes and re-edits.
His latest album, entitled Days To Come was released on October 2nd 2006. The first single from the album, Nightlite, featuring vocals by Bajka, was released on August 14th.
Days To Come was voted Best Album of 2006 by Gilles Peterson's listeners.
2) Bonobo was a dutch electronic project from Utrecht, sharing members with Human Beings. Where Human Beings were more into techno and house/trance-ish stuff, Bonobo focussed on breaks and breakbeats.
