On the back of a European tour with her full seven-piece band, Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Cash Savage herself is putting on a special new year treat here in Naarm.For the first time ever, Cash Savage will perform her songs solo - sharing with audiences how her songs sound in their raw infancy, before she took them to her band The Last Drinks. "I've always been a little terrified of doing a solo show. I love my 7 piece security blanket but I'm pretty excited to perform some of my songs as they were written, just me and a guitar." Cash says. "It's also been a while since I've played guitar on stage so as much as I'll be cursing when I have to carry an amp again, I'm looking forward to it."Almost all of Cash Savage and the Last Drinks' iconic back catalogue of songs began life being played by Cash on her guitar, with only her vocals. For the first time, she'll perform songs from her ARIA-nominated, Music Victoria Best Album So This Is Love, along with crowd favourites from Good Citizens, One of Us, The Hypnotiser and Cash's debut album, Wolf, in their purest form. "The only people who have heard the songs like this are my bandmembers, and a couple of people who are very close to me."
