Reverend Horton Heat

As usual, The Reverend Horton Heat was on fire! What a great outdoor venue at Artie's Bar and Grill. The sound system was spectacular. New Jersey's own "Our Marvelous lives", had a fantastic opening set. The Surfrajettes are an incredible surf rock band and the style was just too cool

I had not seen the Reverend previously and had no idea what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised by his charisma and humor, not to mention the energy of the music. If you could only see one more band in your lifetime, the Reverend Horton Heat wouldn't be a bad choice!

One of the best shows I've been to!! The Reverend was awesome!!! Then Jim brought up Jimmy Dale to sing one of his own songs and he was amazing. I'm not much of a country music guy, but Dale Watson and Jason D. Williams are my new favorite country acts. All around the show was just great!!!!

What an amazing night, the Rhythm Room is always a great small venue. We have seen The Rev all over the west coast but this line-up was outstanding, Dale was hillarious in his set and Jason D Williams was crazy good. I have not bought a CD in a really long time and he got my money. What a Show!

RRH always brings their A game! Tons of energy and great music. The venue however needs to fire the sound person. The Rev repeatedly had to try to get the mic sound right and could not get it right making him mad. Not right when the venue makes the show turn sideways.

The reverend Horton heat is one of my favorite bands. I've seen them about 40 times over the years. They always put on a great show, and I have specific memories from most every show. I always stay and visit with the band afterwards, they are always kind and humble. They are one of the best touring bands I know of. Highly recommended if you like rock and roll, this is your band.

Awesome show - of course - it's The Rev. I've lost count how many times I've seen them but this one felt special - the small familiar venue added so much to the performance. Add to that hanging out with each of the band members after the show in free conversation, what more can you ask for?

Awesome venue. Small enough that there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. The Rev rocked and the mosh pit went a good part of the show. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Finally a place where drinks were decently priced and not a total rip off. Thank you Rhythm Room.

Surfragettes were awesome. The drummer is off hook and he guitars and bass players got some mean chops. I’ve seen the Reverend four times, all in Reno. Never not working. I swear I saw smoke come off his pick hand. Venue is cool, but white lights were lame and no more free drinks for the sound person please. Hardest working bar tenders anywhere!!

The Rev was in full effect, as we're the Surfer Jetts, amazing show all the way around. Rev played some old school jams which lit a pit on their tour opening, Friday the 13th show! Even rounded it out with their classic cover of Motorhead's Ace of Spades. Brilliant night!

Nashville Pussy - full on rock n' f'n roll! If you've ever seen them before you aren't surprised. Best substitution for a show EVER! Love 'em! The Reverend Horton Heat - need I say more? The reason I went to the show. Last night was the 29th time I have witnessed them live - not counting all of the StageIt shows during the pandemic - I am a Gravel Farmer fan. The Toadies - fantastic. I loved their work in the 90's alternative rock hey day and saw them open for Bush and co-headline with the Rev and again at the Bottleneck in Lawrence - super solid and badass band. Great show - period.

Always a good time and great show by these amazing artist reppin’ Texas in their own way. A must see at least once in your life. I have seen them 3 times. Always worth the cost of admission. Even got an awesome signed poster from the band. Memorable moments for sure. Thanks RHH! See you guys again every time you come to San Antonio. Until next time. 😎🤙

First off this was my 28th RHH show since 1996. I am sorta a big fan..... Second..I have been to big, little, clean and dingy venues across our country. This was byfar the smallest venue with the worst sound. House mics looked to be bought off AliExpress and woofers ..well just say old was an understatement. Was told "venue is made for hip-hop/rap" sorry I don't know a single artist that would want substandard sound. Acts: Great! First time seeing the KoffinKats they were amazing. Daughter and I had a post show meet and greet with their guitarist. 👍 RHH is the most amazing PsychoBilly act out there! Jim on the Gretsch and Jimbo on the stand up slap bass never disappoints. People: Eclectic bas always. Very few drunk ass red necks which is good

If you have an opportunity to see a show at the Coda I suggest it. It is the most intimate concert I have ever been to. Reverend Horton Heat was great. Jim told stories about their early days as a band mostly at Jimbo's expense. The band stuck around after the show and met with the fans. It was a wonderful experience with an exceptional band.

As he always does, the Rev delivered an awesome show at the Pour House in Charleston, SC on March 8. His playing and singing both were fantastic. Jimbo delivered on the upright bass as well. Jonathan Jeter was on drums and also amazing in his own right. I buy tickets for the Rev every time he's in town. Love it!

REV was great as usual! We loved the opening act too! This was our first time at Pappy and Harriets. The food is excellent. My only gripe is that they didn’t remove the dinner tables right next to the stage after their dinner service was over. The tables got in the way of more people seeing the Rev up close. The table also got in the way of a busy walkway to get in and out of the back. I will definitely go back to Pappy and Harriets for a show! Especially if it’s the Reverend Horton Heat!

45 years attending concerts and this is the greatest lineup ever!! Lots of talented fun-loving artists filled the stage. Phil Alvin and the Blasters were in top form along with Jim Heath and Jimbo from the Reverend Horton Heat with assistance from Robert Williams aka Big Sandy. Junior Brown is in a league all his own and he and wife Tanya were outstanding as always. Great show!!

First time seeing the band. Loved the energy, the musicianship, the fun that each member displayed. Jim and Jimbo had the chemistry that long time partners have. But, even the drummer and piano player brought a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. I am looking forward to seeing them again.

love the band and the music. dislike the security at the venue. there's like 5 people to 1 security guard. they confiscated my key ring and embarrassingly small wallet chain.i mean the guys themselves might be nice but the boss is probably a total dick. terrorist attacks understood and all.... know what? whatever. the sound is great there too.

the best show I've ever been to. THEY PUT ON A FUN SHOW AND THE QUALITY OF SOUND IS CRYSTAL CLEAR, TO HEARING THEIR MUSIC LIVE OR NOT. AMAZING ENERGY AND HANDS DOWN BEST PERFORMER IVE SEEN. DEFINITELY WAS ON NY BUCKET LIST. ADD IT TO YOURS. REV IS THE KING OF ROCKABILLY PCHYCOBILLY.
