Formed in Gypsy Hill, London in 1980, Hard Skin have sold over a million albums including their top 30 debut 'Hard Nuts...' and their collaboration with some of the biggest women in alternative music including Joanna Newsom, Mikki Berenyi (Lush) and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) 'Why Do Birds Suddenly Appear'. The band also released the final 7'' on the legendary UK punk label No Future Records, are a regular nuisance at the worlds biggest punk festivals including Rebellion and hold the record for the most beer drank on stage at a whopping 173 pints in 45 minutes.
