Generating Steam Heat presents the universe's biggest selling and best looking beer drinking, pie and mash eating Oi! band playing an ultra rare live show and ONLY 2024 DEVON DATE!
Formed in Gypsy Hill, London in 1980, Hard Skin have sold over a million albums including their top 30 debut 'Hard Nuts...' and their collaboration with some of the biggest women in alternative music including Joanna Newsom, Mikki Berenyi (Lush) and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) 'Why Do Birds Suddenly Appear'.
The band also released the final 7'' on the legendary UK punk label No Future Records, are a regular nuisance at the worlds biggest punk festivals including Rebellion and hold the record for the most beer drank on stage at a whopping 173 pints in 45 minutes.
Come and singalong to all the hits including 'We Are The Wan@ers', 'Fat Bob The Builder', 'ACAC' and 'Oi! Not Jobs' which will no doubt be included on their forthcoming greatest hits album ?Gold? at Things Happen Here in Dartington on Saturday December 7th 2024.

Hard Skin Biography
Parody Oi! band responsible for hits such as "Still Fighting Thatcher" and "Oi not Jobs." Fat Bob AKA Sean is actually an A&R man for Rough Trade and used to run the now defunct "Rugger Bugger" records label. Ben, the guitarist, drives bands around in a van for a living and was previously known for his role in bands "Thatcher on Acid" and "The Tone".
