Maggie Cassidy

Maggie Cassidy is a five piece dirty pop band out of Guildford in Surrey. Formed in 2017 and named after an early Jack Kerouac novel, they’re ready to take their playful brand of intelligent pop music to a mainstream audience. These boys bring with them a relentless, energetic live show of strong material best described as sad songs you can dance to.

The bands debut EP ‘Life Is Beautiful' pushes the band further into the fray of fully realised modern rock music through the marriage of crushing riffs, soaring choruses, catchy hooks and honest lyrics. Vocalist Jamie Coupe’s distinctive tone shines as he meditates on contemporary issues of mental health intertwined with living and loving in the social age while the songwriting talents of the bands guitarist, Tom Macdonald-Grute, combines modern production with nostalgic punky riffs.
