I april kommer El Cuero til Havet med helt nytt album!
Etter noen rolige år, hvor El Cuero sine medlemmer har gjort seg bemerket i store norske band som Kvelertak, Spidergawd, og The Dogs, deler de nå nyheten om at de endelig er tilbake med ny musikk og ny turné.
“Når vi neste år skal ut og spille konserter er det med en rykende fersk plate i sekken. Vi er veldig stolte av det nye albumet vårt, og vi tror at konsertene på denne turneen vil bli de morsomste vi har gjort på veldig lenge. Vi gleder oss derfor veldig til å reise rundt og vise fram ny musikk for dere,” forteller trommeslager Håvard Takle Ohr.

“... are we done yet?” Albumet er innspilt og produsert av
Per Borten (Spidergawd) i hans Sørgården Studio våren 2021.
Albumet “... are we done yet?” som slippes 8. mars 2024.
Nå kommer bandet til Havet 26. april 2024.
“Trondheim har vært hjembyen min i noe som snart nærmer seg 20 år. Da sier det seg selv at det alltid er ekstra stas å komme "hjem" for å spille. Vi har hatt utrolig mange fine konsertopplevelser med El Cuero i Trondheim, både på Moskus, Byscenen, Familien og Samfundet. Denne gang er jeg veldig glad for å endelig få spille på Havet - et av de kuleste konsertstedene i byen nå om dagen. Topp atmosfære, lokalitet, lydforhold og veldig god stemning. Det er klart vi gleder oss,” forteller gitarist og vokalist, Brynjar Takle Ohr.
El Cuero er inne i sitt 18. år som band. Bandet har hele 7 albumutgivelser bak seg, og de har gang på gang mottatt stående ovasjoner og fantastiske kritikker for sine album hos landets musikkpresse. El Cuero er også omtalt for sine gnistrende konserter, noe som har gitt gjenhør hos publikum på festivaler og konsertlokaler rundt om i landet. Den utstrakte konsertvirksomheten har skaffet bandet et renommé som et av landets ypperste liveband.

El Cuero Biography
El Cuero is a Norwegian rock band founded in 2005. The members of the band have now made themselves noticed in several big Norwegian bands like Kvelertak, Spidergawd and The Dogs. They are one of Norway's prime interpreters of Americana and guitar-driven rock. From tender ballads with beautiful vocal harmonies, 8 minute long guitar solos, to full on rock and roll!!
El Cuero have 7 studio albums on their conscience, and they have received standing ovations and fantastic reviews for their releases. Over the years they have been praised for their sparkling concerts, giving the band an early reputation as one of Norways hottest live bands.
El Cuero's eighth studio album "... are we done yet?" will be released on March 8, 2024. The album was recorded by Per Borten (Spidergawd) in his Sørgården Studio spring 2021. The album is once again a brilliant example of El Cuero’s ability to mix classic rock with pop melodies and hooks. A melting pot of rock and rough americana with west coast choruses. In addition, there is often a touch of pop nearby.
With roots in Kristiansund (a small town in the north west of Norway) and the rocky part of Americana, El Cuero are some of Norway’s finest rock bands. The band has had high placements on the national top-40 list, and the album ‘From Mountain To Sand’ from 2011 captured an extremely strong 3rd place, only beaten by Lady Gaga and Adele. In 2013 they were selected as special guests for their all time favorite, Neil Young in Oslo Spektrum.
