About this concert
Melbourne’s The Ronson Hangup is formed around the partnership of Steve Pinkerton, former frontman of The Anyones, and Ashley Naylor, the much-loved Melbourne guitarist who recently joined The Church and who has, since the early 90s, fronted popular Melbourne power poppers Even, amongst a thousand other projects.Joining Steve and Ashley in the group are drummer Dave Mudie (best known as Courntey Barnett’s long-term drummer), bass player Luke Thomas (who has played with The Pictures and The Saints) and vocalist Erica Menting who has worked with The Golden Rail and others. The group’s debut album was released in 2010 and, being firm believers in the adage “good things come to people who wait”, they are set to launch their follow up album Centaurus on December 2 at The Workers Club.Listen to the first single off Centaurus, 'Waxes & Wanes', on YouTube.Pre-order Centaurus (digital album, CD or vinyl LP) on Bandcamp.

P I N K O Biography
Born through a mutual desire to write bleak angular punk rock and coinciding with finding a new drummer for Sohns, Ethan Campa & Guillermo Mendez started writing the self-titled release for P I N K O. Upon writing part of the record, and considering continuing as a 2 piece, they approached Jared Flores to join the band on bass. P I N K O released their S/T online on June 20th 2016, and on tape soon after thanks to The Ghost Is Clear Records. Members of Sohns, The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, & Ghost Police. We make loud noise that'll make yr ears run rivers of red tears
