Marz23最初是因為好玩發了一首娛樂性質的饒舌小品—「你哪位」，意外的受到廣大支持與迴響，因此，從樂團主唱阿夜的創立了另一個身份—「Marz23」，此身份的他主要以結合搖滾和饒舌為主。
2020年，Marz23加盟華納音樂，接連祭出【Break Me Down】與【23】兩首炸裂單曲，預告專輯的推出，並在宣布演唱會開票即秒殺。20218月， Marz23將集結從2018-2020發表的所有暢銷單曲，並加入3首未發表的新歌，完整成一張11首歌的首張個人專輯《23》，再次刷爆華語音樂圈。
