About this concert
1 year of rhythm, 1 year of soul, 1 year of playfulness, 1 year of METRONOME! A year has passed since we stepped into the New York music scene, and what an incredible journey it has been! From our humble beginnings in The Brooklyn Monarch's warehouse, we grooved our way to the basement of Jeans, and even embarked on an adventure in a Brooklyn skatepark! Now, after our little escapade in Lisbon, we're thrilled to be back in New York to celebrate our first anniversary with you, our dear Metronomies! For this special occasion, our OGs from day 1—Arnold, Luigi Sambuy, and C_US—will be gracing the decks the Metronome way! Additionally, we're excited to welcome the magnificent Sam Karam all the way from London, where he has established himself as a stellar selector with regular appearances at Beat, Phonox, The Cause, and many more iconic London venues. We're also delighted to have Cole Trickle join us for our 1-year celebrations; Cole has left an indelible mark on the scene with his Räzondetr open-air events in Europe! We can't wait to dance the night away with you all and celebrate this milestone. Much love!

Arnold Biography

Arnold are a band from London, England who play guitar-based music influenced by the likes of Big Star, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and The Who. They signed for Alan McGee's Creation Records in 1997, at a time when the label was riding high on the Britpop-fuelled success of Oasis, and stayed until the label's demise in 1999, releasing two eccentric, tuneful albums. They subsequently signed for McGee's next label, Poptones, releasing the album Bahama in 2001. Several members of the group have formed a side-project called Little Massive, whose album Dog Gone was released in 2005.
