STAGG is a nu folk singer-songwriter-accordionist whose innovative instrumentation and distinctive vocals bridge roots in the Scottish Highland folk tradition with the sounds and ideas of an international vagabond child of the 21st century.

STAGG’s musical foundation came through growing up steeped in traditional music in his native Scotland and developed into a unique fusion as he took an accordion and a backpack on the road and immersed himself in local music scenes from Canada to Mexico.

He has played at festivals such as Celtic Connections and the Edinburgh Fringe closer to home, and venues including the House of Blues and Viper Room in Los Angeles as well as performing countless city streets.

Now based in London, STAGG released a demo EP, “Winter Nights”, earlier in 2019.
