Ce trio revisite quelques-uns des plus beaux standards de l’histoire du jazz, de façon instrumentale et dans toute la chaleur intimiste d’une formule sax-piano-contrebasse qui donne beaucoup de place à la douceur et à la subtilité du son. Avant chaque titre, les musiciens nous plongeront avec gourmandise dans les textes des chansons originales, pour en extraire la substantifique moelle ainsi que quelques perles de poésie liées au contexte historique de cette musique d’anthologie.

With this new trio, Manuel Hermia takes us into a jazzy world rooted in the tradition and at the same time open to all influences, music both modern and risk-loving, but still accessible. It contains some compositions based on the principle of "Rajazz”, with research in harmony and a mixture of colours that gives it a unique character, some compositions are flirting with the edges of jazz, with a range of emotions going from the most sweet and deepest and from the most crazy to the most raging.
