Cardboard Truckers

Formed in the Summer of 2013, Cardboard Truckers are a tight trio of whiskey drinking dudes making original alt rock music and playing shows in San Diego. The Cardboard Truckers line up: Jason on Guitar, Jonathan on Drums and Nick on Bass. Jason the guitarist plays blues inspired rock riffs with bright overtones of complexity. Not only does he rock out on his Guitar, but he also sings his songs with heart, soul and a smile. Jason's ear for music take him to new places where solos exist and dirty deeds await. Listen closely and you will enjoy and audio overload. Jonathan the drummer lays down the beat with a punk/rock/pop/funk/hardcore blended beat. Jonathans dynamic abilities to adapt to a non conforming genre of music are impeccable. Not only can he keep a beat, but he also sings at the same time. Most people can't do either. He's a stud. Dont let him fool you. Nick is the bassist. He says he "can't play bass", but we know he can. Take a moment to feel or listen to the bass lines. You will be bobbing your head, tapping your toe or humming something shortly. Punchy yet full of depth is his sound. Watchout as hes always looking to break the musical method rules and develop new sounds not intended for bass players.
