Franck Monbaylet is well known for creating bridges between musical styles. Whether for french variety (Véronique Sanson, Serge Lama, Yves Duteil) or musical comedy (Emilie Jolie), jazz with original creations (Grieg in Blue, Ethno Monk), Spanish works such as La Noche Oscura (Grand Prix from the Charles Cros Academy), Llanto and Pelleas y Melisanda, rap with Abd Al Malik or ethnic pop with Diego Modena (Ocarina), Franck plays, arranges, orchestrates and conducts. He won with Sylvain Chomet the best film music award at the Beijing festival for the film Attila Marcel.
