Clever Austin aka Perrin Moss  is a self-taught drummer and producer from the Blue Mountains, Australia.Originally a hip-hop producer, Perrin counts some of the world’s most acclaimed drummers and producers as his fans (Questlove, Pharrell Williams, Madlib, Erykah Badu, Chris Daddy Dave, Flying Lotus)Moss acts as producer / drummer for the three time Grammy Nominated Melbourne outfit Hiatus Kaiyote.In between Hiatus Kaiyote records, world tours and samples on Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Drake albums - Perrin releases mixtapes and albums under the alias Clever Austin. Elec. Tape is the continuation of his experimentation with electronic dance music and percussion work.150 units of unlabeled vinyl were pressed for fans of his work, hand stamped with a simple title and artist name. To celebrate the release of this record and have a chance to see Clever Austin perform in person, he will be performing a one off show at Kindred Bandroom. ~~Kindred Bandroom acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land that this event is to be held on, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation.
