Neivi Martinez

Mexican/German soprano Neivi Martinez’s round yet flexible voice, has a remarkable range which extends from E3 to G6. She is a soloist of the FRANKFURTER SINFONIKER and performs regular concerts with the Hofburg Orchestra and the Wiener Residenzorchester in Vienna. Recent engagements include her debut at the most important operatic festival in Mexico: FESTIVAL ALFONSO ORTIZ TIRADO, interpreting recitals among ELINA GARANCA, ALFREDO DAZA and FRANCISCO ARAIZA.

Miss Martinez releases her FIRST SOLO ALBUM Sempre Libera with Belcanto and Operette repertoire in January of 2016, which she has presented in concerts in Mexico, Germany, Austria and Serbia.

She makes a New Years Tour with the FRANKFURTER SINFONIKER in 2016, becoming ever since a freelance concert singer. Before this period she had 11 years of fix engagement at the STADTTHEATER GIEßEN (Germany) and STADTTHEATER KLAGENFURT (Austria). Since then she has performed at SEOUL ARTS CENTER, MAHTUMKULI NATIONAL THEATER TURKMENISTAN, STATE THEATER STARA ZAGORA BULGARIA, STADTTHEATER RÜSSELSHEIM, STADTTHEATER FÜRTH, BAROQUE ENSEMBLE DER WIENER SYMPHONIKER, SONORA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, RUMANIAN NATIONAL ORCHESTRA, NAISSUS YOUTH ORCHESTRA, RESIDENZ & HOFBURGORCHESTER IN VIENNA a.o.

Her video "Il Dolce Suono - The Fifth Element" was presented at ROLANDO VILLAZON´s TV Program "STARS VON MORGEN" in 2016 as a promising rising star. Months prior, Martinez was a semifinalist at the VoceallOpera Competition of the AMICI DELLA SCALA DI MILANO"

Her operatic repertiore includes the Roles of Gilda in Verdi ́s Rigoletto (Festival Opera Nights, Transilvania 2016, Mtro. Toberiu Soare), Adina in Donizetti ́s Elixir D ́Amore (Bad Ems 2015, Mtro. Benedict Sauer), Frasquita in Bizet´s Carmen (Maxlrain Germany 2014, Mtro. Richard van Schoor) and the belcanto heroines Lucia in Lucia di Lamermoor (Donizetti), Amina in La Sonnambula (Bellini), Elvira in I Puritani (Bellini), Violetta in La Traviata (Verdi) a.o.

Her musical heritage and vocal flexibility allowed her to take invitations also in the LATIN JAZZ music field, recording with the the label THE WORLD MUSIC CAFE her solo CD AQUANOVA with texts of her own. Other recordings include a DVD of Mozarts Opera Il Sogno di Scipione (SALZBURGER FESTIVAL 2006 - Ensemble), a Music Training DVD by the FRANKFURT UNIVERSITY and the CD "WO DER PFEFFER WÄCHST" with Harp (Cordula Poos) and Percussion (Markus Reich).

Neivi studies the Music Bachelor in Arts at the Sonora University in Mexico. An international career was facilitated through a diplomatic cultural exchange between Mexico and Sweden, touring through Scandinavia and undertaking further studies at the ARTISTEN Performing Arts School in Göteborg.

She has made recitals at the Hofburg Palais, Kinsky Palais, Lichtenstein Palace, Auersperg Palais in Vienna, Vienna Fashion Week, Eschenbach Palais Vienna, Art Museum in Göteborg, Akvarell Museum in Sweden, Kurtheater Bad Homburg, Vienna Kursalon, Braunfels Castle in Germany, BMW Stelle in Frankfurt, Mexican Embassy in Vienna and the Mexican Consulate in Frankfurt, among others.
