Bryan Adams will bring his effortless stage presence and incredible vocals to the iconic venue, performing one of his classic albums in full each night, alongside his most loved hits from 13 to 15 May 2024. Adams also returns for UK dates for his global ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour, which will see the Canadian icon visit Cardiff, Coventry and Sheffield the same month. Across three nights in May, Adams will perform one album in full each evening – ’18 Til I Die’, ‘Reckless’ and ‘So Happy It Hurts’ – plus a selection of some of the greatest hits from his phenomenal career, spanning an incredible 40 years. The multi-million-selling artist will kick off the residency with his double-platinum No.1 album ’18 Til I Die’ on Monday, 13 May 2024. This is followed by ‘Reckless’ on Tuesday, 14 May 2024, Adam’s fourth studio album, released on his 25th birthday in 1984. The record has now sold more than 12 million copies worldwide, making it his biggest-selling album to date and featuring some of Adam’s biggest hits, such as Run To You and 4x Platinum Summer of ‘69. Adams’ residency will conclude with ‘So Happy It Hurts’, his critically acclaimed 15th studio album, on Wednesday 15 May 2024. Described as “unabashedly upbeat” by Clash with Adams “doing what he does best” (Classic Rock), the Royal Albert Hall stage will be filled with positivity, happiness and a celebration of freedom. Following the residency, Adams will bring his ‘So Happy It Hurts’ Arena Tour to Coventry on May 17, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on May 18 and Cardiff on May 19. Bryan Adams Biography

Bryan Adams OC, OBC, (born 5 November 1959) is a Canadian rock singer, guitarist, songwriter and photographer. Some of his best-known albums are Reckless, 18 til I Die, and Waking Up the Neighbours. His most recent album is "So Happy It Hurts" which was nominated for a Grammy Award.

It was on his third album 'Cuts Like A Knife' in 1983, that Adams developed a large following in the USA with the help of MTV. His fourth album, 'Reckless', often referred to as one of the most significant of the 1980's, broke him worldwide, and he went on tour with Tina Turner and performed their duet "It's Only Love" .

'Waking Up The Neighbours' in 1991, was another huge album for Adams. The single '(Everything I Do) I Do For You' (taken from 'Waking Up The Neighbours') was 16 weeks at number 1; it broke a UK record that had stood since 1955 and still stands today. Back in the USA it was pretty much the same story where it became the second largest selling single to 'We Are The World'; Adams received his first Academy Award nomination for the song and he was also nominated for a Golden Globe. 42 film Directors' have used Adams' music in soundtracks - from Don Juan DeMarco (1995) to Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002).
Adams was awarded the C.M. (Member of the Order of Canada) on April 20th 1998 and the C.O. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on May 6th 1988 for his contribution to popular music and his philanthropic work. He was also inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 1998, and more recently inducted into the Music Hall of Fame at Canada's Juno Awards in April 2006. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards for songwriting, and was nominated for his fifth Golden Globe (2007) for his songwriting in the film 'Bobby'.
