About this concert
Young Mister Steven Fiores career reads like a legendary round of two truths and a lie: co-writing with Art Garfunkel, a stint with Jeff Goldblums jazz band, more than 17 million Spotify streams. But its all true every word of it. In a way, you could say its this unfiltered honesty that ultimately powers Fiores YOUNG MISTER to be more than just pretty melodies, but rather profoundly moving pieces of musical storytelling. Hailed by American Songwriter and Consequence of Sound alike for an adroit balance of folk, Americana, and pop all unwritten with wistful sentimentality Young Mister began in 201X after Fiore, a successful songwriter for Universal Music Publishing Group for more than a half-decade in Los Angeles, once again began putting himself first as a writer. Id been writing a lot under my name, but for other people, Fiore says, referencing cuts for acts like Howie Day and Natasha Bedingfield. I needed to do something different.Dogwood Gap is rooted in the traditions of folk music and southern gothic literature. Swampy blues and rock riffs fuel songs about jealousy, rage, lust, greed and more. The artist project of songwriter/producer Patrick Murray is currently based in Brooklyn.Matt Haughey has been involved in music his entire life, playing a variety of instruments from trumpet to piano; however, he discovered his true passion for singing at age 12. Originally hailing from New Jersey, he would hear songs on the radio, print out the chord sheets and lyrics and sing around the piano with his older brothers. As a freshman at Dartmouth at 18, he decided to try his hand at songwriting and quickly fell in love with it. Matt channels his emotions in his music and uses songwriting as a form of therapy. He released his first single, Make You Happy, in 2019, which quickly gained him a passionate following. He has since released numerous singles and an EP, which have been praised by his fans as unique and extremely vulnerable. Matt hopes to inspire people around the world through his honest storytelling and desire to create unforgettable music. Matt now lives in New York City, where hes working on his first album.Alexander Wren has set off to resurrect the classic American Song. To Whom It May Concern, produced by Micah Tawlks (COIN, Hayley Williams), resembles an artistic Frankenstein of a debut album - an amalgamation of songs plucked from the New Yorkers obsessive 500+ catalog. Emerging is a nostalgic yet somehow timeless piece as if it were made of a peculiar and entirely unplaceable era. From lead single, Full Time Blues, which depicts Alexanders bout in the service industry cleaning toilets to fund his debut, to country b-side, Barely - written from a hospital bed describing a long battle with anxiety disorder, everything on this record has a story to tell. These days he lives off of Central Park West; he thinks at cafes and talks with his 93 year old friend, Wayne. So who are you? Where are you? This record is addressed to you.

Alexander Wren Biography

“To a God, a woman, and an audience all unbeknownst to me…”

Alexander Wren has set off to do nothing less than resurrect the classic American Song.

Scheduled for release on May 19th, 2023, To Whom It May Concern, resembles an artistic Frankenstein of a debut album - an amalgamation of songs plucked from the New Yorker’s obsessive 500+ catalog. Written to a God, a woman, and an audience largely unbeknownst to him, Alexander views the project as an opportunity to formally introduce himself. The LP was produced by Micah Tawlks (COIN, Hayley Williams) and emerges a nostalgic yet somehow timeless work - as if it were made of a peculiar and entirely unplaceable era.

In a world dominated by numbers and instant gratification, Alexander is searching for something different. He remarks that he sees music less as a vehicle for popularity in the 21st century, rather, a rich sociological tradition that we all get the privilege of participating in. Now living off of Central Park West, Alexander mostly wanders and thinks at the neighborhood diner; he also chats with his 93 year old friend, Wayne.
