Têtes de Pois

Têtes de Pois is a 7 piece jazz fusion outfit formed at the Leeds Conservatoire in 2016. They have extensively toured the UK and released the debut EP Framework in 2018. With a basis in jazz, the band has historically been inspired by global genres and created danceable improvised music. They have been played on BBC radios 2,3,4 & 6, won a Help Musicians Development Award and appeared at festivals including Love Supreme, Shambala, We Out Here and Greenman. After a brief hiatus Têtes de Pois emerge from the bunker, the band has sculpted a new sound featuring more vocal led tunes and new influences, expect all of the open-ended improvisation but now paired with vocal song writing and electronic influences.
