REMINDERS Biography

What started out at the end of the summer of 2009 with three friends, gradually turned into a real band later on. The next year they performed a couple of shows under the name Dinosaurs Are Death. In the summer of 2010 they recorded their first EP called ‘No Hollow End’ which was recorded at the Safehaven Recording Studio led by Robin Carlo. The EP was a turning point for the band and they realized that they had reached a new level. Things became more interesting and the music evolved. They had the oppurtonity to play with bands like Betraying The Martyrs, My Autumn, Oathbreaker, The Cold Harbour and even a short weekend tour with Planey After a while the bandname Dinosaurs Are Death just didn’t felt right anymore. That’s why they decided to change it into Reminders. They kept writing over the next two years, which resulted in their first album entitled ‘Dandelion Hill’. ‘Dandelion Hill’ was recorded at the end of 2012 at the Noise Floor Studios in Heist, Belgium. All song were recorded by Kristof Van Rompaey and mixed and mastered by Jay Maas (Defeater) from Getawayrecordings. The cd contains seven new tracks and each one of them has their own identity and stands out on its own.
