The Libra gathering has been a fun balance of great music with beautiful people since 2018 and the tradition continues in 2023!! Come celebrate those born under the seventh sign of the zodiac with a super boosted lineup featuring Mental Broadcast from Brazil and Ozzy from Australia!! Mental Broadcast's first psychic transmissions were inspired by London's acid techno parties in 2002. These signals were delivered by DJ Roma before he took on the name Mental Broadcast in 2006. As a DJ, he became known for his powerful sets and proper mixing skills and was invited to represent UK based label, Alchemy Records. As a producer, he released his first EP in 2008 on 24/7 Records and quickly became one of the top names in Brazilian trance. Since then, Mental Broadcast has been on the forefront of the latest wave of psytrance from South America. Always pushing the boundaries of the genre with each release, Mental Broadcast has gone on to compose three very unique albums as well as appear on countless compilations on various international labels. Libra 2023 will be the first stop on Mental Broadcast's third ever US tour so let's give him a proper San Francisco dance floor to kick things off! Ozzy, the lead sonic sorcerer of Australia's premiere party outfit and record label Tribeadelic, will be making his US debut performance at Libra 2023! The "Legend from Downunder" is known for his slinky sets and mind-blowing music which he has delivered to thousands of fans across numerous festivals throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. He's also been spotted working with psytrance titans GMS, Mad Maxx, Legohead, and others to produce monster tracks for labels including Zero One Music, United Beats Records, and Nano Records. Prepare for an onslaught of fresh sounds from Melbourne's deck wizard as he brings the Aussie bush doofs to San Francisco!! In addition to the two international acts, Libra 2023 will feature Primordial Snooze (the Chilluminati - Wisconsin) and Oso (Shawdow Maker Studio - Atlanta). Primordial Snooze is the downtempo/chill music alter ego of Primordial Ooze and a founding member of the Chilluminati, the midwest's leading psytrance event production team. Oso carries the torch for the surreal sounds of electronic dance music in the South East. Representing Touch Samadhi though the years, his exceptional skills at blending intelligent and deep techno have been known to mesmerize dance floors with a full spectrum of frequencies and inescapable hypnotic rhythms.
