SUNK

SUNK started from a song Martin wrote pre band, called Sunk, that and a piece of Art he once saw by a local artist ‘Alex Kerr’. Martin finds old sunken wrecks fascinating, in a way it symbolises his place at the time starting from scratch writing music and creating a band again, at the bottom with only one way to go. For some years music kinda just slipped off Martin's radar, then one day in October 2013 he was zapped with inspiration, he started writing again and hasn’t stopped since. Many songs later, it seemed a shame to let them sit doing nothing. So in November 2013 after seeing Darren, which he has knew from their college years together, play a gig at local music venue Martin contacted him for assistance, and the rest as they say is history. Our inspiration is mostly everyday happenings, events, people near and dear to us, often people and the stuff they/we experience.
