The Polarity Biography
The Polarity is an indie pop band based out of Dallas, TX. Though formed by lead singer Taylor Hearne in 2014, The Polarity first saw success after their album release "Sugarcoat" (2018). Hearne met guitarist Ethan Ditthardt in college and together they worked on Sugarcoat (2018) and Gutterball (2020). The band's hit song "Son of a Beach" recently went platinum.
After being reunited with childhood friends during the global pandemic, brothers Caleb Barnett and Ben Barnett have since joined the lineup on drums and bass.
