Holly Halliwell

Christian pop artist, Holly Halliwell, got her start in music in the small town of Hoopeston, IL. Growing up, she’d sing harmonies on bluegrass songs with her dad, lead worship at her local church, and chase all things music at school. Being inspired by her musical family and a handful of classic acts, she knew very early on that writing, singing, and performing was what she wanted to do. Holly began writing songs as early as 11 years old, writing them in her head and eventually transferring them to piano.

Later on in middle school and high school, Holly’s church youth group started attending youth conferences that began to fuel her faith. Slowly she began to realize that she needed to put her faith and her dream for music together.

In 2016, Holly won her hometown’s pageant and became that year’s “Miss Hoopeston” which led to hosting the National Sweetheart Pageant and the National Sweetcorn Festival. During that time, she had performances and made appearances in numerous county fairs and parades.

After high school, she went on to study Music Business at Judson University where she met her now husband and producer, Walter Halliwell. Upon graduating, she and her husband had the opportunity to go on tour together working for a chart-topping Christian band–coming face-to-face with what they had always imagined doing.

There came a point when they felt led to step off the road to focus on writing and releasing their own music. Just months after doing so, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. That time allowed them to focus on developing, writing, and producing their music.

At 24 years old, Holly has recorded with a Grammy award-winning producer and garnered over 500K streams on her 5 independent singles, 4 of which were produced by her husband. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, they’re working to bring a new pop energy into the Christian sphere with honest and hopeful lyrics.

While on tour, Holly had the opportunity to record her debut single, "Your Love", with GRAMMY® award-winning producers, Seth Mosley and X O’Connor. To raise funds for this project, Holly and Walter led a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign and officially launched Holly’s career.

Within a week of releasing "Your Love", it featured in multiple blogs, newspapers, popular Spotify playlists, and radio stations worldwide. Since the launch of her artist career, she’s seen exponential growth in all areas. Holly is now booking shows for Fall of 2020. She is excited to share her story and encourage audiences everywhere with an uplifting, pop-driven, high-energy show.
