Reside and Upsetter are joining forces to spread the word of sob-rock in Queensland for two nights only. Friday 13th October, catch them at Vinnies Dive on the Gold Coast/Yugambeh, and Saturday 14th October at Stranded Bar in the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane/Meanjin.  Reside are coming up to Queensland from chilly Victoria in support of their brand new single ‘Leave You for Dead’ to headline the two shows. Wall of Sound said of the new single “Reside has made a strong return to our ears following a year-long silence, with the satisfyingly groovy and brooding ‘Leave You For Dead‘.”  Launching their Doomgaze EP and playing their very first shows as a live act, Upsetter are bringing raw emotion and feels galore to these two shows. Games, Brains and a Headbanging Life said that “The best thing about Upsetter is how they upend the conventional expectations of what emo-rock could and should sound like. Yet, the heart and soul of emo is running through this EP like a thick vein. To call them a unique sounding band is to not fully portray the fascinating creation that is this EP.” This could be the start of something beautiful.
