Matching gritty bars with a methodical, menacing delivery, the MC became a significant player in New Yorks underground scene, signing a deal with Eminems Shady Records in 2017. He issued his debut album, From King to a God, in 2020. Alongside brother and fellow rapper Westside Gunn, the MC founded Griselda Records, which became a key component of the late-2010s resurgence of grimy New York rap. His sophomore album, God Dont Make Mistakes, appeared in early 2022, receiving much acclaim. He followed it with additional mixtapes and the 2023 full-length Wont He Do It.

Conway rocked his set but the audio coming out the venue was pretty awful. Venue is trash in general tryna tell me not to smoke when Conway whole crew up there puffing blunts lmao. Slant Face was hype tho and Conway true to his way. It was a good show

Conway's street persona precedes him, but that's a story for another day. You'll find everything you seek in the music if you listen close enough. His dreams came to a screeching halt after suffering the gunfire that ripped through the back of his head and neck. Conway survive the critical wounds, but not without leaving half of his face paralyzed and a bullet shell stuck in his jaw. Officially diagnosed with Bells Palsy; lyrical acrobatics and exercise became his rehab. After recently inking a major situation with Shady Records along with backing from Interscope -- Conway The Machine is rising as one of the illest pens in rap with a backstory to match!
