Rachel Rose, a Connecticut-born, Austin launched, and Brooklyn-based folk singer/songwriter, has crafted a rich, nostalgic sound that incorporates elements of folk, indie and pop. Rachel draws influence from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, Brandi Carlile, and Alanis Morrisette.Rachel has packed out notable venues in New York such as Rockwood Music Hall, Babys All Right, and Nublu. She recently completed her three month residency at The Bitter End, NYC and she was also one of three selected songwriters to open the Hootenanny Sessions at Cafe Wha? after a nearly 50-year hiatus. She has performed throughout the country including Boston, Austins SXSW festival, Nashvilles The Bluebird Cafe, and more.Her upcoming show at DROM is a celebration of her next single premiere, Back To The Beginning, of which the music video was chosen as a finalist for Tiny Desk this year. It is one of the singles on her upcoming sophomore record And One More Thing, due to release this year.

Rachel Rose, a Connecticut-born, Austin-launched, and Brooklyn-based folk singer/songwriter, has crafted a rich, nostalgic sound that incorporates elements of soul, blues, folk, and pop. Rachel draws influence from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas, and Alanis Morisette. Having firmly established herself as a vocalist, Rachel began songwriting in 2020, releasing her debut EP 100/10/1. She plans to release three upcoming EPs, with the first launch scheduled for January 2023. Rachel has continued to write and cultivate songs that are vulnerable and true to her atypical journey as a songwriter and impeccable vocalist. Rachel has performed at notable venues such as Baby's All Right, Rockwood Music Hall, and Nublu, and was one of three selected songwriters to open the Hootennany Sessions at Cafe Wha? after a nearly 50-year hiatus.
