About this concert
The Twin Cities release show for Shell Game will be Friday, October 13th 2023 at Icehouse, presented by The Current. Rogue Valley will be joined by The Laurels String Quartet and Pete Hennig on banjo and percussion, and original keyboardist Joey Kantor. Celebrated Twin Cities songwriter Molly Maher will open the show with a solo set. The band will perform regionally throughout the remainder of 2023 in support of the new album, and is planning some short stretches to go beyond the Midwest throughout 2024.

Rogue Valley Biography
Rogue Valley takes its name from a region of Southern Oregon, where scoundrels once hid amongst caves in the lush countryside.
Imagine Ralph Waldo Emerson and Jeff Tweedy sharing a dugout canoe across a calm river; Jack Kerouac and My Morning Jacket sitting around a campfire; John Steinbeck and Fleet Foxes hitch-hiking along county roads and highways from coast to coast. Rogue Valley makes music that fills a dynamic spectrum, from surging electric guitar rock to woodsy finger-picking ballads. The unifying trait throughout is the band's soaring, lush vocal harmonies that lift the cinematic arrangements to emotional heights.
Since 2010, Rogue Valley has released 5 studio albums, most recently 2016's "radiate/dissolve" along with the single "Taking Possession", and have appeared on numerous compilations and live sessions. Several members of the band are currently pursuing various music projects; singer/songwriter Chris Koza recording and performing with his solo band; drummer Luke Anderson on tour internationally with pop singer Lissie; vocalist/keyboardist Linnea Mohn singing in numerous projects including with singer/songwriter Jonatha Brooke, and composers/playwrights John Munson and Dylan Hicks.
