Mylène Farmer

Mylène Farmer (born Mylène Jeanne Gautier / 12 September 1961 in Montreal, Canada) is a French singer, songwriter, occasional actress and author. She is the most successful and provocative female French recording artist and only artist to have each of her studio albums gaining platinum status in France. She is also popular in Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Russia and parts of Eastern Europe. Farmer is known for her epic video clips, impressive concerts and poetic lyrics. She has released seven studio albums to date: “Cendres De Lune”, “Ainsi Soit Je…”, “L’Autre…”, “Anamorphosée”, “Innamoramento”, “Avant Que L’Ombre…” and “Point De Suture”
