Clark Kissick Biography
Clark Kissick is a country music singer/songwriter from Bath County, Kentucky. He has played the Lexington scene for the last couple years after going solo from the local band Denim James, which consisted of his high school friends.
Kissick is a former walk on quarterback at the University of Kentucky, where he realized his true passion for music. Upon leaving the University, he worked on a blasting crew for a few years until an accident caused him to find work back in his hometown of Owingsville. Where he reunited with old band mates to form Denim James. After the global pandemic shutdown almost all venues, the band went their separate ways where Clark started working on his solo act. He began gaining praise at local writers rounds, slowly building a reputation for his deep baritone voice, and honky tonk sound.
He is releasing his first EP in the fall of 2021 titled “Storyteller” a 5 song acoustic based story of past experiences and fun tales. He has opened for acts such as RaeLynn, Chris Knight, Reed Fields, A Little Bit More, Gregg Austin, & George Molton.
