About this concert
Steely Jam is L.A.’s premier tribute of “midnight cruisers” , aka studio musicians, performers, teachers and composers who proudly pay homage to the sophisticated sound, the sense of humor and social satire that Donald Fagan and Walter Becker created. For this special performance, while playing such hits as, “Josie”, “Reelin’ In The Years”, “Peg”, “Hey Nineteen” and so many more, we will “mix in the streets” with the great Tom Scott, who will be sitting in on saxophone! Not only is Tom Scott a winner of multiple Grammy awards, a highly accomplished composer, but Tom is also recorded and arranged key portions of songs on Steely Dan’s “Aja” and “Gaucho” albums. Get ready for an amazing night of Steely Dan music!
